BBC lineup for next year final?

A recent article on PlanetF1 suggests that the BBC has finalized its lineup for next year, and it includes Martin Brundle. This is great news for anyone who is planning to follow the British coverage (I certainly prefer it to the US one) - Brundle really is in a league of his own when it comes to having a "feel" for the race weekend.

Unfortunately, PF1 also suggests that the BBC team will include Ol' Greybeard aka David "Whiner" Coulthard. Good for him, but I am not sure it's that great for the rest of us, but I guess if he contains his natural instinct to complain about everything than he may have interesting insights into the current F1 field.

As for the rest of the BBC team, I have never heard the names Jonathan Legard, Lee McKenzie and Jake Humphrey. Anyone knows who they are?

Hmm... should be very interesting to see how DC is on air. I'm not sure I've ever heard him do anything but complain when given the opportunity but I'm hoping for some cool insights from someone who was just in the paddock! But I'd settle for just some gossip. Like does Kimi really sleep until noon, is Lewis Hamilton a superhero in his spare time, and can Felipe Massa pee standing up?

I actually have no idea who Jonathan Legard, Lee McKenzie and Jake Humphrey are. Well, Jonathan Legard does the commentary on BBC radio for F1, he's pretty good, but I've only had to resort to the radio a few times. Lee McKenzie looks like a bimbo but she is apparently an award winning presenter, and Jake Humphrey did the recent BBC olympics coverage but he must have been on at 2am because I never saw him on there.

I actually am not sure what I think about DC commentating. I think you get enough ex-racer-insight from Brundle, I don't think DC will add much plus he's always complaining about something and I don't like his voice.

Perhaps he will be advertising his range of men's grooming products??

The fact that Brundle is DC's manager and friend might make for a good dynamic between the two.

Btw, if BBC wants eye candy, why don't they offer a spot to Bernie's own Tamara Ecclestone?!?
